Since my ‘real’ job is at the University of Nottingham, I’m lucky enough to have photography as a hobby so that any profits from sales or donations go to good causes.
Only in the last few years have I started selling my images. These, plus my 2021, 2022 and 2023 (gap in 2024, next in 2025) calendars of Wollaton Hall & Deer Park - e.g. view on my Twitter page HERE, have raised around £5,000 for Himmah Foodbank, East Midlands Dog Rescue, Nad Grill, HARC Hope Animal Rescue and Friends of Wollaton Park
Going forwards, all profits from all products will continue to be donated to charitable organisations, with some support always going to Friends of Wollaton Park, who do an amazing job at maintaining this wonderful open space
If any of the products below interest you, or you have any questions, please drop me a note via the CONTACT tab so we can discuss further, including which images and formats might suit you best. I have included a guide price list to help you decide - but all sorts of shapes and sizes are possible, so please enquire…!
Calendars
The 2021, 2022 and 2023 calendars of Wollaton Hall was printed by TeamsCalendars and proved very popular, with complete sell out (e.g. view HERE). Pre-orders for 2025 will start in Oct 2024.
For the 2022 calendar, I asked for votes on favourite images from a selection of 6 photos, which I posted to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook each month. A really enjoyable co-creation. As a guide, I ask for what buyers can afford; minimum £5, recommended £10, generous more than £10.
Prints
I use the companies WhiteWall and Loxley Colour for prints, which are superb quality.
My absolute favourites is “Direct Print On Aluminium Dibond” - the image here is an example I have in my work office at the University of my dog, Pickle, looking at a print of himself in the wintery Scottish mountains..!! (Look closely you’ll see a misty picture of Wollaton Park in the top right, also as a Dibond print..!)

Testimonials
I recently ordered two prints from Chris and I can’t express how wonderful they are and how easy the process was.
I have recently moved house and had been looking for a picture for my dining room wall for some time. I wanted something a little more unique and personal and that’s when I came across Chris’ social media posts (Twitter) with images from Wollaton Hall & Deer Park.
I knew that these were really special and taken with so much care and an eye for detail. I spent a couple of days scrolling through the images on the website, which all come with an individual title and code to allow you to identify them easily.
The most difficult part was definitely deciding which image to choose. In the end, for my main purchase, I chose a wonderful picture [see left] which, for me, represented not only the types of walks that I enjoy doing in my free time, but also from the way that the photograph was taken I felt there was added symbolism of hope and stability which I hope to find in my new home.
From that point, I only had to fill in a simple form on the website and I was able to liaise with Chris regarding sizing and delivery.
The quality of the prints is outstanding and really makes them come to life. They also come ready to hang up (with rails on the back) which definitely facilitates getting them on display.
From ordering, my prints were delivered within a week so I didn’t have long to wait before they were on the wall.
A big thank you to Chris for making everything as easy as possible and I’d encourage anyone to take a look at what’s available (and place an order).
